Very small square table in rosewood veneer inlaid with bouquets of flowers, opening with two drawers without a crossbar, resting on four five-sided curved legs joined by a crotch shelf, decorated with chased and gilded bronzes, L.XV period, attributed to Wolff.
Christophe Wolff, awarded the title of Maitre in December 1755, is renowned for the very high quality of his work, most of which is Louis XV in style, and for his real talent as a marker.
The Louvre, Les Arts Décoratifs and Cognacq-Jay hold furniture from his production.
