Cartel and bracket in Boulle marquetry of engraved brass on a red tortoiseshell background, beautifully ornamented with chased bronzes decorated with foliage, draped woman and warrior at the top, dial with 24 enameled cartouches.
Stamped varnish, quarter-sounding movement with its original balance to be overhauled.

Height of cartel 67.5 cm, height of console 26 cm.
DUBOIS Adrien maître in 1741, specialized in clock making, he produced high quality clock cases and pendulums, often using Boulle marquetry.
