An Etruscan carnelian scarab with antique gold pendant mount.
4th - 3rd century BC.
The scarab measures 1.2 x 0.9 x 0.7cm.
The scarab is carved with a phallic figure in the globular style. The small gem mounted in gold as a pendant in the 19th century.
