French cabinetmaker and decorator of the Art Nouveau movement of the Nancy School,of which he was also vice-president.Begun in the 1890s,Majorelle's furniture production,embellished by interlacing,takes its inspiration from nature:plants,water lilies,thistles,dragonflies.
Majorelle is undoubtedly one of the internationally recognized figures of the Nancy School.
