Furniture, paintings, sculptures and objects from the 18th and 19th centuries.
This beautiful mirror was made in Venice around 1750. It has a frame in painted, lacquered and gilded Swiss pine wood. The frame is completely shaped. At the top we find a figure of a lady and knight within a bucolic context and all around the frame figures of flowers and racemes. All typical details of the Rococo period. The frame is also delimited both internally and externally by a gilded perimeter, also original from the period. The two terminal feet are also lacquered, gilded and painted with flowers in shades of pink/red always on a light blue background, in a rocaille shape.
The central mirror is also original to the mercury workmanship.
This mirror is in excellent condition, ready to be placed in any room of your home: suitable for an entrance or a corridor, it is also pleasant in a living room, bedroom or study, it can be combined with antique or modern furnishings.
