ANTWERP or BRUSSELS CRUCIFIX

A large south netherlandish (Antwerp or Brussels) gilt bronze mounted tortoiseshell, bone, ebony, inlaid lacquer crucifix.
17th century, Christ maybe later.
Very good condition.

This is the only known crucifix with the typical Antwerp or Brussels decoration of inlaid lacquer.
