Small clock "tête de poupée" Régence period, early XVIII century

Regency period "doll's head" alcove clock, early 18th century.

Blackened wood, Boulle tortoiseshell and brass marquetry, silver fillets.
Large enamel dial signed Boucheret in Paris.
Ringtone on demand by draw, indicates hours and quarters,
Movement with a crown wheel escapement, also signed on the plate.
Manufacturing details show a remarkable quality of execution (pillars of plates, axes of striking lever etc.)
The mechanism works, the clock has its pendulum, its key and its gong.
Not overhauled, the rope for demand striking is broken.

Boucheret is referenced in Tardy's dictionary of hologers.
We know of another clock with a doll's head of large dimensions (Swiss market).
