FEYERABEND Johan Rudolff dit Paul LELONG (1779-1814)

Flower portrait painter, watercolorist.

Son of Franz Feyerabend, he practiced the same trade as his father and painted in gouache and watercolor, leaving a landscape with a figure, preserved at the Basel Art Association.

A Demolition of the Dance of the Dead in Basel, drawn from life, was engraved after him.

He spent some time in France, where he took the pseudonym Paul LELONG and left a large output of delicate gouache natures-morte
