A rare jewel painted on slate, depicting the magical moment of the Annunciation.
The Archangel Gabriel, splendid, with his wings spread, appears in the presence of the Virgin to announce the Great Event.
The Divine Messenger holds the lily symbol of purity in his right hand and points with his left to the White Dove, the Holy Spirit, who in a halo of light carries out the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary.
The work is part of the refined production of slate paintings of the Veronese school, which rarely appear on the market.
In this case the author stands out for the particular finesse in the description of the scene and for the extraordinary brightness of the chromatic range, creating the image of a supernatural event.
The state of conservation of the painting is excellent with the slate slab in perfect condition.
