The painting depicts the magnificent view of the Rialto Bridge on the Grand Canal, considered one of the most representative monuments of the City.
The Author captures the image of the place with an excellent sensation of movement, documenting a glimpse of daily life in 18th century Venice. The typical Venetian boats travel the length and breadth of the Grand Canal passing under the bridge that unites the two important districts of San Marco and San Polo.
The canvas presents a very detailed description of this fascinating context.
