Table in brushed steel after Osvaldo Borsani's T69 model.
Brushed steel, varnished Carrara marble.
Italy.
Circa 1960-1970.
h. 28,7 in. ; d. 43,3 in.
This bouquet-shaped table, an anonymous variation on the famous "T69" table designed by Osvaldo Borsani and Eugenio Gerli in 1963, differs from the latter by its two-blade legs, which refines and aerates the shape of the table, crowned by a massive varnished Carrara marble top ; a more luxurious, less impersonal choice, compared to the traditional glass tabletops favored by Italian designers in the 1960s and 1970s.
