20th Century, Ten France Two-light Gilt Bronze Sconces
These elegant sconces were made in France in the early twentieth century, according to a characteristic design of the Louis XVI era.
Entirely in finely chiselled gilded bronze, they have a central anchor element to the wall of elongated shape and decorated with semicircular motifs, lower capital, ending with foliated decoration. In the upper part a large closed ribbon creates movement and graceful.
From the central element there are two curved arms decorated with acanthus leaves and ending with tapered and grooved arm on which the circular bobbins and candle holders, grooved and podgy.
Rare to find in such a copious number, these very decorative and luminous wall lamps are pleasant both in groups of two and possibly individually. They are suitable for any environment and can be combined with both antique and modern furnishings.
