Large Neoclassical Carved and Ebonised Mirror, Lucca About 1800

Magnificent neoclassical mirror with glass frame and marble decoration mounted under glass. The mirror rests on two lateral sphynxes and is surmounted by an eagle. The glass frame is adorned with gilded and stuccoed decoration. Field of mirrors in two parts, the lower part being heavily blinded.
