An exceptional receptacle for our emblematic relic of the Saint Ursula society. In ebony, silver and gilded copper with an architectural form highlighted by four detached columns, it in fact houses a leader of the eleven thousand Virgins of the company of Saint Ursula. Richly embroidered with gold and silver threads, the base is decorated with hard stone cabochons inscribed in silver openwork patterns.
The upper part, richly applied with busts of cherubs, shells and scrolls in silver and gilded copper, is topped with a cross.
A German work, mid-17th century Augsburg or Innsbruck region Dimensions of Height: 64 cm high, width of 38 cm.

Our hunt is accompanied by a pair of old reliquaries or displays from the 17th century as well. Transformed into blackened wooden mirrors, this pair has a rich architectural decoration of a pediment, columns, decoration in applied brass and silver, foliage, mascarons, putti, flowers and scrolls. The pieces are placed on curved front legs, ball at the back
Dimensions height of 65 cm by 27 cm wide and 8 cm deep. On the back there are old episcopal wax seals.
