Chandeliers are the grandest of all glas objects, always a symbol of brilliance and an emblem of luxery.
This impressive cut glass chandelier has eight arms bearing candles and six crook arms bearing spikes.
The arms are all cut with six sides as was the style in 1790.
The stem, constisting of nine parts.
The chandelier is dressed overall with pear shaped drops.
Probably made by William Parker, Fleetstreet, London.
Circa 1785
In original good condition.
