External and internal part of the frame carved with successive leaf motifs.
Raised body, sculpted to represent elegant vegetal motifs, and centered by four angel heads with spread wings.
Corners carved to depict acanthus leaves underlined by colour.
The frame, of refined execution, both in terms of carving, gilding and polychromy, is the work of the Brescia artist Luca Mombello, a well-known painter of the Moretti school, who, in the first half of the 16th century, thanks to his , he was also a skilled carver and producer of frames.
