A boxwood snuff box carved in relief with foliage.

Italian, early 19th century.

Measures 10.5 x 6.5 x 2cm.

The lid is centred within a roundel containing the bust of a member of the order of the garter.
The reverse of the box is carved with the classical profile of a woman.
