Tyrolean art, pyramidal in shape, our monstrance is made of delicately carved and gilded wood. It rests on a wooden base also a reliquary. The main niche, the one located on the base, accommodates a notable relic of Saint Liberatus, abbot martyr in 484.
The upper niche also contains ex-ossibus and bagged relics of the Holy Martyrs Gratien and Fulgentius. The whole is based on a rich work of pearls, stones and silver threads, centered on a small gouache in a medallion.
On the back are numerous wax seals attesting to the inviolability of this reliquary which also has its original glasses.
Piece in good condition. Some cracks and small gaps.
