Pair of Louis XVI candlesticks in gilded bronze

Pair of gilded bronze candlesticks, the circular base decorated with pearls, dark concave gadroons of asparagus and leaves.

The barrel, also with dark concave asparagus gadroons, is topped with an elegant convex gadrooned barrel.

Beautiful partially worn mercury gilding.

Louis XVI period work from the end of the 18th century.

Good condition; note a split bobèche.
