A champlevé enamelled copper appliqué of a Saint.
French, Limoges, 13th century.
Measures 6cm high excluding display stand.
The small three quarter length figure of a Saint is depicted wearing robes with hands crossed against his chest. The figure is applied to a fragment of the left arm of a processional cross decorated in white, blue, red, green and yellow enamels.
