Daum Nancy - "Violets and Dragonflies" Art Nouveau inkwell

Exceptional double glass inkwell and cover, square cross-section with rounded corners and chimney neck.
Beautifully engraved in fine acid-etched reserves, painted with polychrome enamels and enhanced with gold, two dragonflies flying over flowering violets on a frosted background with mauve interlayers.
Very rare model, remarkable quality of enameling!
