Pair of Louis XVI period candlesticks in chased and gilded bronze.
The columnar shafts are underlined by flutes decorated with asparagus, a laurel garland punctuated by medallions surrounded by pearls and topped by a bow, and end with a frieze of water leaves. They support antique-style vases with gadroons and foliage. The ensemble rests on circular bases with wide flutes and gadroons.
Beautifully preserved gilding.
