Depicts Hercules leaning on a tree trunk with his mace and three apples in his left hand from the Garden of the Hesperides.
Octagonal base on lion claw feet.
Movement signed on the dial "Le Roy & Fils. Horloger du Roi à Paris".
Very fine gilding
France. Early 19th century.
Model historically attributed to Claude Galle (1759-1815)
