A polychromed limewood sculpture of Saint George slaying the dragon.
South German, late 15th century.
Measures 55cm high.
Provenance: Purchased from MOATTI Paris in 1971 by the Countess of Hardwicke thence by Descent.
The sculpture remains in original condition with expected wear and tear and minor restoration to the polychrome on the face.
