Louis XVI period work
Pair of finely chiseled and gilded bronze candlesticks.
The barrels are fluted in the shape of a channel column and decorated with laurel garlands from which medallions surrounded by pearls and topped with knots hang.
They rest on a circular base finely chiseled in a frieze of canals and asparagus.
At their top, a capital chiseled in raies-de-coeurs supports a binet in the shape of an antique gadrooned vase, enriched with raies-de-coeurs and beaded.
