Second half of 18th C Arlesian marriage armoire (wardrobe). It is of a slender proportion with its “chapeau de gendarme” cornice and its 2 doors comprising 3 panels. High and low crossbars, and the piece between the doors, are carved with motifs evoking the bonds of marriage (wrapped inflamed hearts) as well as symbols of prosperity (ears of wheat, oak and olive leaves, vine branches pomegranates).
Original important ironwork, along the full heigth of the doors, complete the whole.
