Elegant pair of gilt and chased bronze candlesticks from the Empire period.
On a circular base decorated with a frieze of foliage, flowers and a gadrooned rosette, rests a sheathed shaft adorned with a gadrooned vase, fluting and rings.

It ends in a chased Lotus leaf spigot.
Parisian work circa 1805, model attributed to Claude Galle,
in its original gilding with some wear to the socket.
