This glass vase is an extraordinary example of the Loetz manufactory its capability for design and is attributed to Robert Holubetz. The three attached handles of the vase give it an architectural look, which makes it all the more eye-catching. The Phenomen Genre 358 decoration is known from the World exhibtion in Paris 1900.

World exhibitions were an enormously important advertising factor for arts & crafts manufactories, as the audience for these events attended from all over the world. For the Loetz glassworks, it represented an important milestone in its company history. The antique vase is mould-blown, freeformed, reduced and iridescent.
