Cabinet in marquetry Boulle inlay in copper thread
It is decorated with porcelain plates with olive background and polychrome decoration presumably symbolizing summer and autumn.
It opens with a drawer and two sashes. Curved side panels.
Furniture of a rare quality, mahogany bottom drawer, rare inlay of copper threads and bronze cariatides of extreme finesse and with a sublime patina.
Recessed black marble top.

The cabinetmaker Antoine Krieger settled in Paris with his brother Nicolas in 1826. He specialized in the production of style furniture. He participated in the 1852 London Exhibition, where he won a second-class medal, and in the 1855 Exhibition. In 1856, he bequeathed his business to his sons-in-law, who took the name Cosse-Ragault et Cie, then in 1860 KRIEGER, RAGAULT & Cie and finally around 1880 Damon et Cie.
