Biography :
Ary Jean Léon BITTER
Born in Marseille in 1883
In 1895, he studied with Emile Aldebert at the École des Beaux Arts in Marseille.
In 1902, he joined the studio of Ernest Louis Barrias.
Between 1904 and 1913, he was a pupil of Jules Coutant.
His works appeared at the Salon des Artistes Français between 1910 and 1939.
In 1923, he created the mascot for Mme Louis Renault's personal car.
Gold medal in 1924.
Hors concours and chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur in 1932.
Gold medal at the 1937 International Exhibition.
