REQUEST INFORMATION
Decorative art from 18th to 20th century
Attributed to Gilbert Poillerat (1902-1988).
Lamp in the form of an armillary sphere.
Ostrich egg and wrought iron.
Circa 1940.
Many typical elements of Gilbert Poillerat's production allow us to attribute this lamp to him. Indeed, in addition to the quality of the wrought iron, the shape of the foot is close to other lamps listed in his catalogue and the shape of the sphere recalls his creations called astrolabes.
