Domingos Viegas Toledo Piza (Capivari, 1887 - São Paulo, 1944), painter. He studied law in Paris and after his studies he joined the art school La Grande Chaumiere. Exhibited for the first time in 1919 (at the Paris Salon). He participated in the Salon des Indépendants, where, in addition to being one of the artists exhibited, was a member of the jury (1925). He has a personal exhibition at the Galerie Carmine (1929) and participated in the Salon d'Automne (1932), Paris allowed his rise as a painter in the 20s and 30s. One of his works remain to this day the Museum of Game of Palm.
In 1922 he sent some of his works to exhibit at Casa Sotero, in São Paulo. Even being a known artist in Europe, Piza went unnoticed in his own country when he returned to Brazil in 1933.
