A vellum bound book containing leaves from a Medieval Psalter-Hymnal.

French, late 15th century.

The book measures 14.5 x 11 x 2cm and contains 86 leaves.

The pages appear to be from two Medieval Psalter/Hymnal’s bound in the 19th century.

Many of the pages have polychromed and gilt decorated letters, flowers, fruits, birds, insects, snails and squirrels.

Most of the pages remain in very fine condition with just a few in diminished or unreadable condition.
