Elegant clock "urn" in gilt bronze and chased. Dial signed Berthoud in Paris. The top of the clock is decorated with a frieze in bas-relief representing a round of dancing children. Two women in the antique style marry the dial. The two handles end in volutes, with owl heads. The enamelled dial with Roman numeral is surrounded by a gilded bronze bezel with water leaf motifs. The square base raised by four raves is decorated on the front with an antique scene in a rectangular cartouche decorated on its sides by acanthus leaves.
