17th & 18th centuries Furniture and Statuary
Charming pair of winged ceroferarian cherubs carved in the round and polychrome presenting themselves as pendants and each carrying a candle peak on a large wavy and gilded cupel.
Both are scantily clad in a simple veil twirling around their chubby bodies seeming to fly in weightlessness or dance with outstretched wings.
Faces with full, plump cheeks are topped with wavy hair. The look expresses all the vivacity of childhood while on their lips appears a slight smile imbued with sweetness.
