Regency period carved and gilded wood mirror with a double frame of Berain rods maintaining the mirror in two parts which is in its original sheen. The pediment, topped by a large cartel carved with a bud topped with a shell, is decorated with floral garlands, gadroons, clasps and acanthus scrolls. On the screens, vigorous scrolls of acanthus leaves. On the lower part, scrolls, foliage and florets frame an openwork shell. Parisian work from the beginning of the 18th century in its original gilding and tain.
