Pair of Louis XVI wall sconces in gilt bronze

Rare pair of large ormolu sconces with three arms of lights decorated with plant motifs, resting on three shafts with twisted flutes, flanked by an acanthus leaf base ending in a pearl seed and supporting a bouquet of roses topped by a ribbon bow. The binnacles are decorated with olive leaves topped with flutes. They are supported by a cup with a pearled row.
