Important "America" clock in finely chiseled and patinated gilded bronze, with enameled glass applications. France, late 18th century, H. 56.5 cm.
Subject identical to the classic models but perched on an arch decorated with foliage and blue enamel pellets; feline hocked feet; base decorated with a frieze of cupids.
