Pair of "rope" chairs in gilded wood with red fabric seat, backrest imitating rope. France Napoleon III period. this model of chair is similar to the stool created by the master upholsterer AME Fournier. the latter was established on Boulevard de Beaumarchais from 1850, then Boulevard des Capucines in 1867. At the Universal Exhibition of 1867, he presented tapestry, living room and bedroom furniture.
