Gallant scene with a couple of costumed characters who could be actors, in the center of a large landscape décor animated with flowers, birds, and flowered vases reminiscent of chinese vases. The scene is surmounted by a cloth canopy reminiscent of a pagoda, suspended from a wooden fence linked to the bottom of the composition by climbing plants that border the subject.
