Large Stoneware Red Disk Vase by Edouard Chapallaz (1921-2016)

Large "disk" red stoneware vase by the Swiss ceramist Edouard Chapallaz, unique piece circa 1965-70.
Chapallaz was one of the most important ceramists during the second half of the XX th Century.
His works can be seen in major European Museums (MAD, Sèvres, Ariana, MUDAC, Kunstgewerbemuseum among others). He is especially known for his red enamel.
