A cupboard with a flap that hides the paperweight and a drawer, made of rosewood veneer, violet fillets, green tinted sycamore and light wood. The flap is inlaid with two doves on a trophy of musical instruments and flowers, under a scalloped canopy suspended by a loop of ribbons with pompons.
The drawer is inlaid with a "Queen" style, the cut sides are veneered with a fake fluting, the sides inlaid with two floral bouquets.
Chased and gilded bronzes, original locks.
