Important and rare clock in carved wood, lacquered and gilded, signed and dated C. de Le Moine, Paris 1778, 18th century.
The clock we present is a rare carved wooden model, decorated with large acanthus leaves on its sides, and provided in front of consoles also carved with foliage. A frieze on the base richly carved, resting on four feet in the form of a top.
A curious pyramid at the top finishes the decoration.
Its gilt bronze dial surrounded by flowers at the four corners.
Wire movement.
Missing the back glass and small crack to the dial.
Good condition.
