Inscribed in the note on the lower left: “ASE Marchese Pietro Tacoli Cons: di Stato, Ciam : Colon: Commander of the Guard N. of Honor of SAR Cav: de SS. Maurizio and Lazzaro. Modena ". On the headdress and hilt of the sword, the initials of Francesco IV of Austria d'Este: "F.IV."
