Galerie Léage

In November 2020, Galerie Léage extends its visual field to answer to all those caught in the collecting's game. To this end, we have the pleasure to present you a rare choice of piece of the everyday life, responding to criteria of excellence, quality, originality and authenticity, which characterize the gallery. We wish to promote the access to the collection and permit to neophytes as well as experts to start or complete a collection of objets d'art of the 18th century. Founded in 1972 in Paris, Galerie Léage is specialist in exceptional furniture and objets d'art of the 18th century and is located at 178 rue du faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris since 1992. For 40 years, it participates in renown events such as the Biennale des Antiquaire of Paris, the BRAFA Art Fair and the TEFAF Maastricht. Part of the principal galleries in its field, it distingues by the will to propose pieces of taste and museum quality from the Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI period. Part of the collection is now part of institutions such as the châteaux de Versailles and Compiègne, the Louvre Museum, the Jean-Paul Getty museum (Los Angeles) and the Legion of Honor (San Francisco), the Metropolitan of Art (New York), the Museum of Fine arts (MFA, Boston) and perpetrates the tradition of donations to museums.
