PRESENTATION GALLERY : Bertrand de Lavergne
The Bertrand de Lavergne gallery was founded at the "Louvre des Antiquaires" in 1985 and moved in 2015 to new premises situated 17, rue des Saints-Pères-75006 Paris. It is showing Chinese export porcelain, Chinese works of art from the 16th to 18th centuries and japanese porcelain.
However, Bertrand de Lavergne takes special pride in the fact that it's one rare French gallery to exhibit high quality, Qing period, Chinese snuff bottles.
He is a member of France’s Syndicat National des Antiquaires (National Dealers Union), Royal Belgian Chamber of Antiques and Fine Arts Dealers, founder and general secretary of the "Association des Spécialistes de la Céramique de collection" and expert in the Compagnie Nationale des Experts and in the Chambre Nationale des Experts Spécialisés (National Body of Specialist Experts).
The gallery participates each year to the BRussels Art FAir, to the "Parcours de la Céramique" in Paris and took part to the "Salon du Collectionneur" and to the "Biennale des Antiquaires", Grand Palais, Paris.
Bertrand de Lavergne belongs to the “International Chinese Snuff Bottle Society” of Baltimore and to the “Association Européenne des collectionneurs de Flacons Tabatières Chinois” of Paris (European Society of Chinese Snuff Bottles Collectors).
